3 Convincing Reasons Why You Need To Drink Green Tea

Scientists have been studying green tea for years, and they keep finding new and amazing benefits. It’s hard to imagine that a mere plant, like green tea, can contain so many properties that are healthy and healing for the entire body. Green tea can be consumed either as the tea or in capsule form; and to see the maximum benefits you should take it every day. So we are going to talk more about this powerful plant food, and hopefully you’ll want to give it a try and use it daily.

Perhaps one aspect of green tea that most may not know is that it is a stimulant that is not as strong as coffee and certainly other energy drinks. It is safe to drink green tea for energy because it is milder plus you won’t get the caffeine jitters. Since it is a healthy substance that increases your metabolism, it’s also good for people who are trying to lose weight. Coffee has roughly twice as much caffeine as green tea. Not everyone can consume the high energy drinks and pills found on convenience store counters. So you can take advantage of the stimulating properties of green tea without all the other concerns about high caffeine intake.

We all know about the value of consuming antioxidants, well just as you may have expected; there are powerul antioxidants within green tea. Antioxidants can help to control your blood pressure and cholesterol and may even help prevent certain types of cancer. There are also quite a few positive benefits from consuming the antioxidant EGCG (epigallocatechin-3-gallate), and of course that does exist in green tea. That is the same as what you’ll find in vegetables and fruit, although there are obvious differences, etc. Perhaps 3 or 4 cups of green tea during your day, and then of course have some fruits and vegetables with meals, etc.

You can improve the health of your liver with green tea because it has detoxification abilities. Green tea has a powerful type of antioxidant called catechins which support the immune system and lessen the damage done by free radicals, which are the causes of many diseases. Your liver is critical to life and health, and this kind of powerful ally found in green tea will make your body stronger. For the greatest effect, try to drink about 3-4 cups of green tea per day, or the equivalent amount in capsule form.

Your total body healthy can be supported and positively affected with green tea.

For this reason, it’s likely that more unexpected benefits will be found as more studies are done. So who really knows of all the positive affects of regularly drinking green tea? It’s like there are only upsides and no downsides associated with drinking this healthy and valuable drink.

If you want to start taking green tea for your health, you have a choice of drinking tea or finding a good green tea supplement. It’s quite easy to make several cups of green tea a day and enjoy it while knowing you’re doing something great for your health.
