Basic Information about Largemouth Bass Fishing

Bass fishing is by far one of my favorite activities. There are very few things thing that are more exciting than to have a 4 pounder smash a lure, and then jump clear out of the water. Here are some products that will help you with your bass fishing

Polarized Fishing Glasses

Polarized sunglasses are a must have piece of equipment when you are fishing. They really serve two purposes:

1) They block out harmful UV rays from the sun.

2) They eliminate glare caused by the sun’s rays reflecting off the water. This is a very useful quality of polarized sunglasses.

You will be amazed with how much you can see in the water with a pair of polarized sunglasses. The difference is like night and day. These glasses with will you immensely when you are scanning the shallow water in search of bedding bass.

The thing about polarized fishing glasses is that they run the entire range in prices, from $4.00 to WOW, I would never pay that much money for a pair of sunglasses! The best piece of advice I can give you is that you get what you pay for.

Of course, in order to be an effective bass fisherman, you are going to need to know more than one presentation. What I do is master one new presentation each year. By far, my favorite presentation is called wacky rigging. Wacky rigging is hooking a soft plastic lure in the middle, rather than threading the hook into one of the ends. This causes the lure to float down to the bottom slowly.

Wacky rigging is a very effective way to catch bass, but you still need many more presentations in your arsenal. Here is an article about my 10 favorite bass fishing presentations. Soak up as much information from this article as you can!

Now that you have been given some information about bass fishing, it is time for you to head to your local bass lake and try some of this new stuff out!
