Best vacation value? Hands down, it is a cruise. It is by far the best value for your vacation dollar. For less than the cost of hotel accommodations alone, you get a nicely appointed cabin, meals, entertainment, and room service. Where else can you get so much for so little? There is so much to see and do on a cruise I could never list them all. Like to hike? Go hike the Aztec ruins. Go on a beach buggy excursion. Like to swim? Go swimming with the stingrays. Or if your like me relax in a hammock with a pina coloda on the white sand beaches of Cozumel.
And the best part of it all is it is all affordable. I am a blue collar working man and I have to tell you my cruise experience was top notch. You feel very pampered and a bit special on your cruise. Want coffee and sandwiches? Pick up the phone and they will bring it right to you. Swimming, dancing. Casino, live music. It’s all there. If I recall it was less than 500 per person for seven days, we went to five countries and we had a blast. they have on board activities and shore excursions to fit every ones interests.
Then there is the food… food and more food. Just about any kind of food you can think of perfectly prepared. It’s easy to put on a few pounds. Good thing there is a full health spa and gym. Including running/walking track. I can not say enough about the extreme value a cruise vacation is. We had the best time. I even won a few trophies. I got one for the best cannon ball and another for the scavenger hunt.
The ship we went on had two swimming pools, a mall. three night clubs and a casino. They had formal and casual dining areas, along with 24 hour a day pizza and ice cream. Like I said earlier. food food and more food. They have special areas for the little ones and dance clubs just for the teens. They have something for everyone. So in these tough economic times don’t stop having fun just take a cruise. It truly is the best vacation value.
