Its natural for people to want to earn money online, especially now so many homes have an internet connection. The problem is that many people are looking for a push button solution, and guess what? There are plenty of people out there who will offer you that push button solution for $97, $197, $497 or more…Guess who makes the money?
Heres the truth. No such solution exists. Listen up…There are NO push button solutions!
Think about it for a minute. There are only a few ways on earth to make money, like working for an hourly rate, selling something at a profit or stealing it. I do not recommend the last one and despite the majority of people ending up as a wage slave, trading hours for money, I dont recommend that either. So that leaves selling someone something at a profit.
How are you going to find something to sell at a profit? Where is that something going to come from and who are you going to sell it to? Especially if you are short of cash in the first place. You can of course sell some unwanted possessions at online auction sites, but when you are looking at a bare room, thats the end of it.
Another option you have is to sell goods and services as an affiliate, a bit like a commission only salesman. You could build a website (or have one built) that recommends a third partys products and collect a percentage of the sales value. This works for sure as I do this, but in a very special way.
Affiliate commissions can vary from 2% to 100%. Yes you did read that correctly! Forget the 2% unless you can hook up with a high end realtor or a luxury boat builder. As for the 100%, well that comes from selling digital downloadable products like ebooks, software and courses.
It may be the case that someone is selling a $7 ebook that leads to an upsell for a higher priced piece of software, or a course. Do you think its worth giving you the whole $7 to get a lead to the higher priced product? It certainly is, because they only had to write the ebook once and the delivery costs are zero. You bet its worth their while!
At the beginning of this article I told you there are no push-button solutions and I stand by that statement, but there is something that comes close. Email marketing. Its the closest thing you will ever find to printing money, apart from stealing and we ruled that out at the beginning.
There are people earning six, seven and eight figure incomes by email marketing. Theyre not lawyers, accountants, corporate high flyers (well some of them may be) but others are ex car plant workers and firefighters. People who started out with tough jobs and wanted to better themselves, have surpassed their wildest dreams through email marketing.
Not everyone achieves this level of income, but the returns are generally far greater than selling yourself for a few bucks an hour and theres no commuting, no pushy phone calls to make, no inventory, no multi-level marketing, nothing the slightest bit dodgy. In fact some big earners are quite religious people who donate to charity.
The beauty of this business model is that only a very simple website is required, one that can be constructed quite easily in an hour.
