The BBL600XL is powered with a 750-watt motor and eliminates friction on the drive thus extending the life of the motor. A computer chip adapts the speed of the motor so that it performs evenly even when faced with resistance. The result is even and consistent blending for all types of recipes.
Aspects and Features
The BBL600XL has a stainless steel base which is attractive and also provides a high level of durability. It is a very quiet machine due to its superior motor. The 54-ounce glass jar is of a high quality being made out of borosilicate. This material prevents any scratches and fogginess on the glass thus making it very clear to see through. The glass jar is marked in metric and empirical volumes so anyone can read and understand them.
Brevilleís Hemisphere Bowl and Blade System prevent the ingredients from spinning away from the blades and stops chunks from forming. Unlike other machines this means you don’t have to waste time reblending chunks that form inside them. You will save time using this blender as compared to other machines.
You get a selection of 5 speeds for smoothies and crushing ice. The backlit panel is clear and shows you when the machine is stepped up or stepped down. Cleaning is very easy and can be done by removing the bottom of the blade system and wash it by hand or in the dishwasher.

Technology
The BBL605XL has a 750-watt motor and uses the Hemisphere Blend and Bowl System that will result in perfectly blended smoothies and food processing.
Aspects and Features
The blades are surgical grade blades made from stainless steel which will stay very sharp. Moreover the blades are serrated for an additional cutting edge.
The jug is 48 ounces and is made out of triton polyester. It is ribbed and the ribs have been made in order to ensure that any ingredients that may rise up in the jug are pushed down back into the blades. The blender comes with 5 speeds including snow, blend, mix, liquefy and puree. It also has a pulse function. The LCD timer is very useful and the machine has a choice of 5 speeds with which can adjust the blending process.
The ice crush has been pre-programmed. There is also a pre-programmed smoothie setting which ingredients at a slow speed and then increases speed as the ingredients thicken. A smoothie is naturally creamy without the need of adding any thickening agents which avoids the addition of extra calories.
Additional Specifications
The BBL605XL measures 8 x 6.5 x 17 inches and weighs 11 pounds. The cord does not require a separate space for storage since it can be wound and stored beneath the machine.
What is the Difference Between the Breville BBL600XL and BBL605XL?
Both machines are similar and the BBL605XL is an improvement over the previous model. The BBL605XL has a 48 ounce Eastman Tritan copolyester jug with dual ribs whereas he BBL600XL has a 51 ounce jug. The dimensions of the two blenders vary slightly and the BBL605XL is slightly larger in size.
