The 50BC is a commercial quality ice cream maker, made of stainless steel. It has a powerful compressor which means that you can make ice cream without the need of chilling anything in advance. You can also make several batches of ice cream one after the other, very important if you have a steady stream of guests on a festive occasion. The one quart basket is used to make ice cream in and it can be removed with the help of a handle. The lid is transparent and gives you visibility of how ready your ice cream is, and also has small window through which you can pour in ingredients for your mix.

A timer can be used for 60 minutes depending upon what type of ice cream you are going to make. You can also make sorbet or yoghurt if you want with this machine. After you set the times it will turn off automatically after your ice cream is ready. The machine is easily portable being light and fitted with handles on both sides. The ICE-100 has a stainless steel exterior and an excellent design making it look very attractive. It comes with 2 ice cream paddles, one for ice cream and the other exclusively for gelato. Gelato has much less air in it and is denser than an ice cream which is more aerated. Hence the 2 different paddles are ideal for making perfect gelato or ice cream. It also has a 1.5 quart container which can be removed from the machine. A locking lid locks the container in pace by putting it in at the unlock icon and then tuning it towards the lock icon.

A small window on top makes it convenient for you add ingredients while making ice cream or gelato. It has a compressor which means that you do not have to do any chilling overnight. The compressor also makes it possible for you make several batches of ice cream or gelato, in fact as many as you wish so that you have enough for your guests or family. The control panel is at the front of the machine. The controls consist of a power button, a 60-minute timer and a start/stop button. A blue LCD readout makes it easy for you to see the controls. Another useful feature in the ICE 100 is a 10-minute cooling mechanism that keeps your ice cream or gelato chilled even after the process has been completed with the timer going off. The panel itself is black and is surrounded by brushed steel giving it an enhanced look.

What is the Difference Between the 50BC and ICE-100?
