For 8 people:

  • 1 puff pastry or broken (home or business)
  • 1 liter of milk , semi-skimmed
  • 3 eggs
  • 160 g of sugar
  • 100 g cornflour
  • 2 sachets of sugar vanilla
  • 3 teaspoons of extract of vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder (or vanilla)

1 -Darken the mold previously buttered and floured the dough, prick the bottom and sides with the tines of a fork. Refrigerate while you prepare the filling. Preheat oven to 180 ° c.

2 -Electric Whisk, beat the eggs with the cornflour, vanilla extract and 125 ml of milk (taken from the liter of milk recipe) in a bowl.

3 – Pour the remaining milk in a saucepan with the vanilla sugar, sugar, vanilla powder (or vanilla bean, split in half lengthwise and scraped). Bring to a boil. Pour the milk boiling over sweet vanilla egg mixture while beating (electric whisk). Repay all in the pan, put on low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spatula. Let simmer a few seconds, no more, it is necessary that the preparation is slightly thickened.

4– Pour the mixture over the dough (remove the vanilla pod if you set one) stitched into the pan and bake for 40 minutes at 180 ° c. Cover with foil if necessary the last 5 minutes. Cool completely before removing from pan, slice and enjoy.
