Easy Calorie Burning Tips

Many people have issues with weight and obesity and they want a change. There are a few proven ways to lose weight. I will not going to get into any supplements for losing weight, so I will only be focusing on changes in your eating, exercise, and lifestyle. Many of these changes are relatively small, so it should not be too difficult to incorporate them into your life.

Before you start, you must make a conscious decision that you want to make a change. Without this step, you will not accomplish anything.

Now I will get into some small, unconventional changes that will eventually amount to big results.

Stand Up More. Many people get into a habit of sitting down. Instead, try standing at work more often. Stand while you watch television or talk on the phone. Take walks after you eat. By standing, you will burn 2x the calories than if you were sitting. Not too hard right?

Drink Ice Water While you Eat. You’re body is usually running at a high temperature. By drinking a cold glass of ice water while you eat, you will help lower your body temperature. This will result in burning more calories because your body must bring its internal temperature back to normal. Calories are burned through this process.

Eat More Protein. I am a big fan of Tim Ferriss. In his book The 4 Hour Body, he recommends eating 30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up. This change alone helped his father go from losing 5 lbs a month to 18.75 lbs a month. A few recommendations include eating more eggs, oatmeal, protein shakes, beans, high protein cereal, or lean meats. Try it and see the results.

Change Your Perception of Treats. When I say the word treat, many people will immediately think of candy or sweets. However, there is a way to change that. Try holding back from buying sweets for a week and buy fruit or some other healthy food you enjoy. When it comes time for a ‘treat’, grab the fruit and enjoy it.

These are just a few tips to help lose belly fat. They will help you set a foundation for your goal to lose weight. Again, you must make a decision to change and lose weight or you will never accomplish your goal. Good luck!
