Finding Kitchen Appliance Set Sales to Outfit Your New Home

-

If you are moving into a new home or moving out for the first time then you will need to know where to find the best kitchen appliance set sales so that you can get everything you will need to get started. Appliance sets are a great way to start because they give you the essentials needed for a complete home all in one purchase. They also go on sale at certain times during the year, which can be a great way to get a heap of appliances cheaply. You also need to think about best appliance services and home appliance service to make a better decision.

What You Need to Have in a Good Appliance Set

The essential appliances that you will need in a new home are: a fridge freezer, a microwave or another cooking appliance, and a coffee machine or kettle. If you are not moving into an apartment you will also need your own washing machine and possibly a dryer if you are in an area that doesn’t get much sun. Some nice extras to get are an entertainment set, an iron and a blender or juicer. Typically items that usually work together in some way are sold as sets so you may have to buy two or more sets to fill out your house with everything you will need. Some places will, however, have complete home packs that will have all of the entry-level appliances you could possibly need at a great price.

Warranties on First Home Appliance Sets

Warranties are an attractive option for buying appliances because they can provide you with an added level of piece of mind, especially since you are investing a good amount of money into them. However, on your first appliance set a warranty is not that important. You will want at least a one year warranty but anything longer then that is not worth paying for. This is because you are more likely to be replacing your first set with upgrades within 2 years anyway.

The Best Places to Visit for Kitchen Appliance Set Sales

Sears – Sears is well known for it’s high quality options on kitchen appliances and you can often find great sets on sale. The best times to visit are in the new year, around stock take and just after Christmas when they may be overstocked.

Lowes – This is a great option to find lower priced or entry level appliance sets to fill your home with. If you are getting your first ever set of appliances then Lowes is highly recommended.

REI – REI is a good alternative for home appliances provided that there is an outlet near you. REI have a large selection of brands at fairly reasonable prices and they can often have full home sets on sale.

Wal-Mart and Costco – Both of these sellers are great providers of bulk goods and both sell a lot of starter packs for home appliances. These are usually store-branded items but they can still be of a decent level of quality and should last you a few years if taken care of. To save a bit of extra money at either of these stores you can first become a member. This is an especially good idea if you plan on shopping there again in the future.

Buying Kitchen Appliances Online

If you cannot find the deal you are looking for at one of the above retailers then you can instead look to online distributers. Most places don’t offer full sets but they will often combine shipping if you purchase multiple items and you can end up saving a lot of money this way. Make sure that you always check out customer reviews before buying from an online retailer if you have not heard of them before.

Other Places to Find Cheap Appliances

If you are unable to find the appliances you need then you may want to consider looking at cheaper single appliances. A great place to find individual appliances for cheap is scratch and dent outlets and factory second warehouses. These places sell slightly damaged but otherwise new stock at heavy discounts and can be great for your first set of appliances. If you cannot find decent appliance set sales then this is the next option you should try.
