We live in a time that makes it increasingly harder to control what we eat and what we expose ourselves to. 4. Apples

Apples contain pectin, which allows our bodies to cleanse those toxins we have retained in our digestive tracts. Aside from being great for digestion, apples help your liver by literally reducing its workload, and should be consumed as often as possible, for their beneficial properties are hard to even count.


5. Whole Grains

One of the numerous reasons why you should avoid white flour is that introducing the whole wheat alternatives helps your liver immensely. Not only will your digestion be better, and thus your liver’s work easier, but your liver will get the necessary dosage of B-complex vitamins. B-complex vitamins improve the metabolism of fats, and the general liver function and decongestion.

6. Lemons

Lemons are high on vitamin C, which helps your body change the toxins into something that can be absorbed by water, and then cleanses.

There are more foods that help the liver function and make it easier for your liver to do its job, but if you only try to eat these from the list regularly and avoid too much greasy food and alcohol, you will see an improvement very soon.
