Come Christmas and everyone gets into the mood of celebrations. Why not plan a holiday to London this Christmas and see what all is there to enjoy? You must have heard about wonderful Christmas celebrations in the city and that the city attracts visitors of all ages in the yuletide season from different parts of the world. Kids especially have unlimited fun as hundreds of venues across the city organize interactive shows and activities aimed at young revellers.

For pantomime fans there is so much to explore this Christmas in London. The Hackney Empire will be attracting hundreds of families with kids who wish to see the stage adaptation of their favourite fairytale of Cinderella and her Prince Charming. The famous Arab folk tale, Aladdin will be organized at the Beck Theatre with Mark Jones playing Wishee Washee again this year. Other popular classic stories that will be adapted on stage will include Dick Wittington, The Snowman, and The Gruffalo. CBBC’s Dan and Jeff will be back again to make people roar with laughter at Vaudeville Theatre.

Depending upon your kids’ choice you can also take them to a cathedral to join traditional Christmas festivities. St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and St Martin in the Fields will be hosting Christmas carol concerts that will be led by popular choir and orchestra groups. Even at Trafalgar Square Christmas carols will be sung by hundreds of people at the backdrop of a visually appealing all illuminated Christmas tree. Children will surely feel delighted at the sight of the Crib at the square.

The legendary Harrods department store will host a wonderful Santa’s grotto for kids to meet the man in red. The eye-catching decorations at the store will surely fascinate them.

With numerous adventure rides and a large ice skating rinks to spin under a beautiful starlit sky, kids will definitely love to be there. Thy can also shop for interesting gifts at the German Christmas market and enjoy sipping hot chocolate and eating hot mince pie.
