  • 1 lb of fresh trimmed and sliced green beans
  • 1/4 cup water for cooking
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • generous sprinkle of sea salt
  • generous sprinkle of cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 cup crumbled Stilton cheese can substitute if needed.


  1. Simmer green beans in water in a large pan until just tender and the water has evaporated
  2. To the warm pan and beans, add olive oil, salt, pepper and walnuts. Cook another 2 minutes
  3. Place the beans in bowl and toss with stilton cheese until covered in cheese.
  4. Serve and enjoy.
