The High Sierra music festival has been held every year in Plumas County, Quincy California since 2000 and was held in Bear Valley, Quincy or Leland Meadows in the years before that (since 1991). While they try to bring a wide selection of different musicians each year the past years were dominated by rock, folk and heavy bluegrass although you can also expect to hear funk, brass bands, reggae, electronic, world, and gospel. If you check the reviews on this festival you will find pretty much only the highest reviews from the people that attend, most raving about the cleanliness, friendliness of the people, great food and of course great music.
