Honey is used in a variety of ways. People spread it on bread, use it in various recipes and sometimes take it directly. Apart from the cooking purpose, there are some health benefits of honey too. You will get surprised to know that the thing you are eating often is so helpful in keeping you fit and fine.
Increases your immunity : Honey is most commonly known to increase your immunity. It makes your body resistive to common illness like cold and flu. Its anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties makes you fight against most of the common diseases and also improves your digestion. You can mix a spoonful of honey in water along with lemon juice and take it daily before breakfast. It will definitely make your immune system strong.
Anti-cancer property : Honey is also known to fight against cancer. The fact has been proved by many researches. Honey contains flavonoids which provably reduces the risk of some cancers.
Good for your heart : Honey improves your hearts health by reducing the extra cholesterol from the body. You can mix 1 tablespoon of honey in warm water along with 1/3 tablespoon of cinnamon. Drink it daily to keep your heart healthy.
Good for skin : Honey has anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties which make it good for skin. You can use honey to clear your skin. Apply some honey on your face and leave it for few yours. After that, wash it off to get a healthy and radiant skin. If you keep it on your face for a longer time, you skin will absorb maximum nutrients from it.
