How To Apply Smoky Eye Makeup

What You will Need:
Mac 239 eye shader brush- for eye shadow application
Mac 219 pencil brush- for smudging the area
Mac 217 blending brush- It is the most important brush which blends all the colours together

Lemonaid eyelid primer by Benefit.
This product can be found at your local Debenhams store.
Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay

Crayon waterproof eye liner by Dior
This product can be found at Selfridges & co stores.

How to apply
Step 1- Before you start make sure your eyebrows are well groomed. Now prep the eyelids with Lemonaid eyelid primer by Benefit, It’s great for keeping eye shadow in place, apply this all over the eye lids using a Mac 239 eye shader brush.
Step 2- Using the same Mac 239 eye shader brush fill the entire eyelid with a light colour, such as white, ivory or pale pink, these colours are used for the base, then add a dark colour like grey, brown, purple or blue on top of the other colour.
Step 3- Now get the Mac 219 pencil brush and smudge the two colours together. Using the Mac 217 blending brush apply black eye shadow
creating a v shape from the outer corners of the eyes, then dragging it
to the creases of the eye then blend it in, the key to perfect smoky eye is blending. You want to make sure that the colours are blended together flawlessly to avoid harsh lines.
Step 4- Use the Mac 217 blending brush and shade under the eyes using a dark shade and blend it in.
Step 5- Apply eye liner to your upper and lower lash line, using Crayon waterproof eye liner by Dior. Pencil eye liner tend to work better for creating smoky eyes alternatively you can also use gel or liquid liner.
Step 6- Begin to apply on your upper and lower lashes. Make those lashes stand out with 2 or more coats of LOreals new 4D mascara.
Step7- Now this is optional but yet you can never go wrong with applying false lashes to finish off the smoky eye look.

Step 8- And finally apply a white colour eye shadow using the Mac 239 eye shader brush to highlight the brow bone.
