A processor and a blender will make very fine and uniformly sized crumbs. But in case you don’t want to use either of these implements, a knife would work just fine. Here are the steps involved in making crumbs using a kitchen knife.

  • First, trim off the crusts from the slices of the bread you have chosen to use.

  • Alternatively, you can use a food processor to make perfect crumbs in just thirty seconds. A blender can also be used. Switch the blender on and have the motor running. Through the hole at top, fill the blender with bread slices. Be cautious as to not overfill the blender.
  • If you wish to spice up your bread crumbs for added taste, you can combine them with different spices, herbs and even cheese.
