Identity Thief Movie Soundtrack

The Identity Thief movie soundtrack 2013 features music composed by Christopher Joseph Lennertz, an American musical composer from Methuen, Massachusetts. Lennertz has created music for a variety of mediums including television, movies and video games. Most people probably know him because of his score for the film Alvin and the Chipmunks, a movie that combined animation with live action filmmaking. Lennertz attended the University of Southern California where he studied music at the Thornton School of Music. Before going to music school, Lennertz attended high school in Pennsylvania.

Lennertz has collaborated with other artists in the music industry. He has worked with the likes of Michael Kamen, The RZA, Basil Poledouris, Ozomatli and the Alien Ant Farm. His work with Ozomatli in particular was a very productive one as the work they did on the record Street Signs earned an award from the Grammys in the Best Latin Rock Album category. In 2002, he scored the film Saint Sinner by Clive Barker and for his score in said film, Lennertz was named best new composer.

Lennertz’s television work include the series Brimstone, Supernatural, The Strip and Revolution. His score for Supernatural earned him a nomination from the Emmy Awards for the category Outstanding Musical Composition in a Series.

Lennertz also worked extensively in video games scoring several popular games like Quantum of Solace, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, The Simpsons Game, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, Mass Effect 3, Medal of Honor: European Assault, The Godfather II and Warhawk.

Before working on the Identity Theft soundtrack in 2013, Lennertz scored more than a dozen movies including Dr. Dolittle 3, Tortilla Heaven, Meet The Spartans, The Open Road, Disaster Movie, Marmaduke, Vampires Suck, Horrible Bosses, Think Like a Man and Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.

About The Movie: Identity Thief which was formerly called ID Theft is a comedy that centers around a man who goes on a mission to take back his identity which was stolen by a woman using his identification card. Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy leads the cast. Joining them in the film are Amanda Peet, T.I., John Cho, Jon Favreau, Genesis Rodriguez, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, Morris Chestnut, Clark Duke and Eric Stonestreet. Bateman is also a co-producer in the film. The film was directed by Seth Gordon. Most of the movie was filmed in Atlanta.

The film revolves around the attempt of the Los Angeles Police Department during the 40s and 50s to keep the city safe from organized crime especially the gang by Mickey Cohen. The film features an ensemble cast that include Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Emma Stone, Nick Nolte, and Michael Pena. It was directed by Ruben Fleischer.

The Croods Soundtrack – This animated feature film contains music by Alan Silvestri (Flight, The Avengers, G.I. Joe: The Invasion of Cobra Island, Night at the Museum, The Polar Express). Directed by Chris Sanders and Kirk DeMicco, The Croods is set in a prehistoric age and it stars a family of cavemen. Members of the family are voiced by Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Catherine Keener, Ryan Reynolds, and Clark Duke.

To The Wonder Soundtrack – This latest piece of work by Terrence Malick contains music by Hanan Townshend. To The Wonder is a love story that revolves around three characters played by Ben Affleck, Olga Kurylenko, and Rachel McAdams. Also in the cast are Javier Bardem and Charles Baker.
