Jasmine guitars are essentially designed by the same fine craftsmen who produce the hottest selling all wood acoustic, the Takamine. Great sound, great appearance, a fantastically designed cutaway for reaching higher frets (see inset picture and you’ll notice the cutaway) Probably the best guitar under $200 you can buy, hands down. Amazon even has these under $100 sometimes, a terrific deal.

The Jasmine by Takamine S34C NEX Acoustic Guitar is a great beginner’s guitar. It is like a smaller version of Takamine’s Jumbo guitars. It produces beautiful vocals and comes at an unbelievable price. It has a sleek construction with Nato back and sides. The fret board is made of rosewood. The guitar’s spruce top sports a beautiful natural satin finish. The tuners are shiny and chrome covered. The guitar neck is a rich mahogany. There is also a pick guard to prevent damage to the strings.
The compact construction makes it a portable guitar that can be taken from one place to another with minimum trouble. Due to its design feature, it is preferred by beginners as it gives them a comfortable handle and is easy to hold. It has a weight of around six pounds, which puts it into the lightweight category – without compromising on the stability and balance of the built. Also, this guitar has a cutaway for easier access to the higher frets. This cut-out design provides a strong support to the neck. The guitar is forty one and a half inches in length and twenty inches at its widest width.
