1. Nix The Tests

When you’re trying to prove that you have a life experience degree, you do not have to take a paper and pencil test—and that’s pretty awesome when you really don’t feel like sitting there through long exams, hoping that you answered the questions right, being slightly worried that you might have messed up and ended up with a mistake that caused you to fail. Luckily, with a life experience degree, you simply have to prove that you know what you’re talking about and how to do it. A committee will evaluate you to determine whether or not you’re truly ready for the degree and that you know everything that you’re supposed to.

2. You Might Have To Pay A Fee…

The fee is normally nominal, and it’s worth it if you really need a degree in order to get the job of your choice. What many people don’t realize is that you don’t need special training in order to hop up and apply for these particularly difficult to obtain degrees. A life experience degree is definitely worth it, to say the very least. Make sure that you’re sure what you want the degree in and that you’re ready to go and give it a try. You never know when you might need to test for a degree—and it’s worth it!

3. Enjoy It!

You will pay so much less if you are able to obtain a life experience degree. All that you have to do is take the time to practice and then test. Many people with on-job training learn just as much as those that are college graduates. And, why not? For one, it’s definitely worth it. Secondly, all that you have to do is demonstrate. It’s ten times easier than needing to go through years and years of school!

These are just a few things to keep in mind regarding life experience degrees. They’re definitely worth it for those that have talents that they can’t use because they don’t have a physical degree.
