Production of food increased substantially and now we have a large variety of foods available. But the food we eat is full of growth hormones and pesticide. Or because we are nervous, bored or emotionally distressed. Comfort food is what’s destroying your health.

I’m not saying pesticide residues and unhealthy hormones are not a problem, they are. However, our bigger problem is that we consume too much soda and candy. Our brain needs the right nutrition in order to function properly. If you drink too much coffee, you can’t sleep. If you don’t drink enough coffee, you feel sluggish. And THAT is the problem. You shouldn’t depend on something like this. The same goes for your children – it’s understandable that they need energy, but does it have to go with a bunch of sugar that will keep them up and running all day?
