It can also delay aging related problems because being an antioxidant it fights the oxidants that are reactive to the body and improves the supply of blood to the cells as well usually through turning on self surviving pathways of the cells preventing damage to them. Aside from the vital organs that received great benefits from red wine, another organ that also received beneficial effect is the Liver. We all know that consumption of alcohol is very detrimental to one’s health but the key is moderation. A moderate amount of red wine is not only safe to human but also can also prevent us from having Non Alcoholic fatty liver Disease (NAFLD).

It can also restrict tumour development in cancer patients. It reduces the enzyme that linked to possible and potential growth of cancer cells. According to some studies, moderate drinkers of red wine have lower incidence and often have low risk of colorectal cancer because red wine said to stop the abnormal growth of cancerous cells. As compared to other alcoholic beverages, red wine doesn’t have harmful effects on immune system. And also it has effect in blood pressure. It said that it can somehow lower the blood pressure as well as the cholesterol levels.

Red wine usually consists of approximately 3.6 grams of carbohydrate and calories of 120 per 5 ounce of serving. According to AHA, the drinking recommendation of one to two drinks per day for men and for women only one drink per day. One drink consists of 12 ounce red wine. Remember too much consumption of red wine will not increased the health effect but it will only increased your risk to high blood pressure, certain heart diseases, liver damage, obesity, cancer and other related diseases. In some cases it becomes very addictive; do you know that too much alcohol will only weaken your heart that can cause cardiomyopathy or weakening heart muscles thus you should avoid alcohol.
