Once you figure out the best traffic strategies, learn as much as you can and get really good at using them. All of these strategies work, so you can make them work for you too, IF you choose to master them. Want to become the Traffic King? Read the strategies below.

1. EPIC Content

First and foremost you need to make sure you have really good content for your visitors to read. Content can be anything from a free report to a great video, but whatever you populate your website with, it needs to provide value to your visitors – not some ‘ho hum’ regurgitated content that they can read anywhere – EPIC content that provides great value. Visitors will only stay on your website if you provide them with a reason to stay – a reason such as really awesome value. Without a doubt this is the best method for bringing lots of visitors to your site. Next step is to ensure people can find all of this great content you have created!

2. Content Syndication

Content Syndication consists of getting your really well-written, value-packed articles out on the Internet for as many people as possible to see. It is important to write for your readers and not just to get backlinks. The aim is to get readers of your article to come and visit your site because they found the content of your article interesting and valuable, and therefore want to find out more. It isn’t enough to get your article seen by as many eyes as possible; it needs to be targeted towards your ideal readers. Content syndication can have immense benefits, as not only do you have the potential to attract a large number of visitors but you can also build up a list of contacts that can lead to even more publicity. Here is how you go about achieving success with content syndication:

– Write a really interesting, valuable article of at least 1000 words, that will leave your readers wanting to find out more about you and your website

– Include a link at the bottom of your article that leads to the website, squeeze page or landing page that you want readers to visit

– Publish your article on your website or blog and arrange for it to be indexed

– Syndicate the article to a variety of good quality article directories

It is a really good idea to keep a note of who syndicated your article so that once you have new content available you can request them to syndicate it too.

3. Guest Blogging

Guest blogging consists of writing posts to be published on the blogs of other bloggers with the purpose of drawing traffic back to your website. With this strategy you also have the opportunity to build a good rapport with other bloggers in your niche that can lead to the sharing of ideas and strategies. Guest blogging is most effective when you have your post published on a blog that reaches the audience you are targeting. It also gives you a chance to improve your brand’s perception, and increase your number of people on your email subscriber list.

4. Content Repurposing

Content Repurposing consists of taking a blog post or article that has already been published and changing its format. It can then be published on a different website or blog. Here are some great ways to repurpose your content:

– Turn it into a presentation

– Create an e-Book with it

– Create an Infographic

– Convert it into a podcast / audio recording

– Make a video of it

– Pin it onto Pinterest

These are just a few of the ways you can repurpose but there are many more, all from one original piece of content. Provided your content lends itself well to other content versions such as newsletters, webinars and more, there is almost no limit to the ways you can repurpose it. No matter which methods you use to repurpose, each and every form must still provide interest and value to your audience.

5. Press Releases

As with content syndication the purpose of a press release is to get your news read by as many eyes as possible. Using a distribution service to get your press release online is one of the easiest and quickest methods. Press releases are great for helping you to develop your brand and also for making more sales, which is what we all want, right? A press release is a great tactic if you are running a small business with budget constraints. You can generate a whole lot of interest in your business if your press release contains some sort of free offer. One thing many people cannot resist is getting something for nothing, and although you will be asking for an email address, this will seem like a very small thing to give up in order to access your free offer. Building an email list is perhaps the most valuable thing you can do, as it opens up a world of opportunity to promote products and services to people who have indicated an interest already in what you have to offer. This is called email marketing and is right up near the top of the list of favorite strategies for getting traffic in 2013.

6. Forum Marketing

Forum marketing is also a favorite traffic strategy of mine. It can be fun and is fairly easy to do. All you need to do is start interacting with others within a forum community. There are some unwritten rules though. Your comments need to add top value. With the addition of a link to your blog, website or landing page you can have traffic arriving in as little as 5 minutes from the moment your post went live.

Forums are also a great source of knowledge, as in a lot of cases there will be more experienced people there, so hanging out there can be beneficial. Even if you have a great deal of knowledge yourself there is always room to learn more. You can also build a good reputation as an expert in your niche. Treat each forum member as a potential client and when you show yourself as being knowledgeable and trustworthy word will spread and the number of potential customers will increase. Participating in the right forum gets your brand in front of the right, targeted traffic. You can’t get much better than that, right?

I know that by now you are probably suffering from information overload, particularly is this is all new to you. I strongly suggest you take a bit of time to go through the information in this post again so you get a better understanding of how this stuff works.

Here is your last strategy: DO IT, TEST IT, STAY WITH IT….

Remember: the most important point of all of these strategies is to provide really great value to your readers.

So now there is only one thing left for you to do:
