On a recent show of Dr. Oz, he talked about Raspberry Ketones. Well of course I had to try them. I have always been a curvy woman and yes anytime I can have a way of losing a little weight I’m all in. I have been taking the supplements for some time. I have not really lost a lot of weight but I also have not been exercising as I should, so I cannot blame the supplement. So let’s talk about Raspberry Ketones…
Science of the raspberry ketone (aka ‘technical stuff’).
Raspberries are rich in bio active constituents beneficial for health, one of these being4-(4-hydroxyphenyl) butan-2-one, which has the potential to support body fat reduction. This occurs through the process called norepinephrine-induced lipolysis. Research also suggests that the enhancing effect raspberry ketones have on lipolysis further augment glycerol release which increases the trans location of hormone sensitive liapse in human fat cells. This promotes thermogenesis and the oxidation of body fat. Whew!!!
Or, for us non-chemistry nerds, raspberry ketones support accelerated fat loss and help increase metabolism. This is supported by extensive scientific studies into the structure and physiological behavior of the4-(4-hydroxpyphenyl) butan-2-one molecule.
The flavor of the fruit itself is their function. When introduced into the human body, raspberry ketones encourage the metabolism (or burning) of fat. Raspberry ketones can also help maintain consistent and jitter-free energy, even when on a reduced-calorie diet. Guess where the energy comes from? Yep, the fat that’s wrapping your body.
I would like to say at this point be careful and buy only pure supplements with no additives or fillers. According to Dr. Oz, you only need one 100mg tablet at breakfast and one at lunch with a meal. I could not find any with that low a dosage. The only dosage I could find were 800mg and I purchased them from purehealth100.com. I was very satisfied. I’m sure there are other places online where you can purchase the supplements but I just chose this company. I started taking one at breakfast with my meal. Make sure you drink plenty of water a day. The supplements smell and taste just like raspberries. If you find yourself getting hungry then just take another one with your lunch. You have to eat a well balanced diet. According to the research I have done, you don’t have to exercise to see results be we all know exercising is best and it can only help.
I have found when I take two tablets I am not hungry at all. I have actually gone most of the day being busy and never even thought of eating and I know that is not healthy so please don’t jump on me. I have not had any side effects from the raspberry ketones.
I love fruit of all kinds and especially raspberries but you cannot eat enough raspberries to do the same thing as the supplement will. According to Dr. Oz, you would have to eat 90 pounds of raspberries a day to get the same results and we all know that is not practical nor advisable as raspberries have a lot of sugar.
I have ordered my second bottle of raspberry ketones and will let you know in the coming months how they are working for me. I personally feel they have helped me and I feel they are worth you taking a look into and doing your own research on.
