  • Webvert

In SEO terminology, a webvert is a reference based, ethical landing page, non-transactional in nature, consisting of an advert, designed on the AIDA principle (it describes a common list of events that may happen when a person is selling a product or service).

  • Web 2.0

The basic concept of Web 2.0 is that the Web is socially driven (rather than technologically driven). The essence of Web 2.0 is built upon existence of online communities. Roughly defined, Web 2.0 is a combination of web application features involving information sharing and collaboration on the Web, usually in social media dialogues as creators of user-generated content. Examples of Web 2.0 include blogs, article writing platforms, wikis, social networks, video sharing sites, web applications, mashups, etc.

  • Web content

Web content makes part of the user experience on web sites in form of text, visual or auditory content such as blogs, articles, images, sounds, videos and animations.

  • Web crawlers

  • Web directory

Web directory, also known as search directory or link directory, is a database of information on the World Wide Web specialized in linking to web sites and categorizing those links. Web directories should not be confused with search engines.

  • Web page

A web page or webpage is a written communication or information inventory that is suitable for the World Wide Web. and may provide navigation to other web pages via hyperlinks. Web pages are usually created in in HTML or XHTML format.

  • Web site

A web site is a set of related web pages containing web content hosted on at least one web server. It can be accesses via networks, such as the Internet or private area network.

  • Webmaster

A webmaster is a person who designs and maintains web sites.

  • WordPress

WordPress is an excellent open-source blogging tool (web publishing system) ideal for managing content that is frequently updated. It is written in PHP and backed by a MySQL database.

  • Wordtracker
