After the James Bond Marathon that happened in 2012 when Sky Movies renamed itself as Sky Movies 007 HD, now it’s time to celebrate the Harry Potter Series.
The channel has decided to rename itself to Sky Movies Harry Potter from October 24 to November 2, just little over a week’s time. The nine day period is being celebrated for the fifteenth anniversary of the release of first film of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’s. All the Harry Potter movies will be played back to back for these nine days on Sky Movies.
The hits of the Hogwarts franchises are set of broadcast behind the scenes, documentaries, extend versions of the movie and special interviews of Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, Emma Watson as Hermione Granger and Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, who played the three mains through the entire series. Harry Potter series is based on the novel series with the same name written by J.K. Rowling. While each novel was awaited with passion and so were the movies. A nine day movie marathon for the same series is a blessing for all the people in UK to watch the magic rolling.
The eight movies long series of the wizardly movie contains the seven book titles of Harry Potter. It was the 7th book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollow that was made up in two parts and where the last part was released in July 2011. The movies were distributed by the Warner Bros. All the eight parts of the movie are directed by Chris Columbus.
With all the fans of the Harry Potter series, Sky Movies couldn’t keep its hand away from grabbing the rights to showcase the movie in UK. This is considered as the best time to showcase these movies as they will be colliding with the half-term breaks and Halloween. This will ensure double entertainment to the audience regardless of their age.
