On most occasions, those snores of your partner are unnoticed (except when they prompt you to wake up). Symptoms of Sleep Apnea
The main symptom of this medical condition is interruption of breathing. Although, it might not be noticeable to either you or your partner. Frequent snoring problem can be indicative of the same. Shape of the head and neck, ageing process etc. may also be responsible for Sleep Apnea.

Treatment of Sleep Apnea involves a mix of lifestyle changes, CPAP or positive airway machines, also known as apnea sleep machines and breathing devices. These treatments help in restoring regular breathing during sleep and relive symptoms like daytime sleepiness and loud snoring. Avoiding alcohol and medicines is a good way start with the start treating the condition. If you are overweight or obese, start losing your weight. No matter how little, weight loss can help improve your symptom. Sleeping on the side instead of sleeping on the back is also known for giving relief.

Breathing devices such as CPAP or Continuous Positive Airway Pressure can be used for treatment and relief from symptoms.
