It is good for the Earth as harmful chemicals are not used in their production. It is good for organic farmers and most importantly good for consumers because they are consuming foods that are not genetically engineered. This assures them that they are not taking in any harmful substances that could cause health concerns in the future.

Fruits:

Fruits are not to be ignored. In fact, everyone needs to have a daily dose of fruits. Among the healthiest fruits are apples, apricots, bananas, berries, cherries, citrus fruits and kiwi. If these fruits are difficult to find in your area, check out other fruits that are native to your locality. There are a lot of tropical fruits that are healthy for you too, just like pineapple.

Vegetables:

You should also eat your vegetables every day. Be familiar with these healthy vegetables, including cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower and green and red cabbage), green leafy vegetables, carrots, beans, asparagus, sweet potato and squash. Make sure that you prepare your vegetables properly as well to ensure that you take advantage of its nutrients.

Aside from fruits and vegetables, you should also make sure that you have your daily intake of required protein and carbohydrates. In addition to that, drink plenty of water and avoid unhealthy drinks as much as possible.
