These are my Stockvault earnings for 2014. I started uploading photographs to Stockvault.net in October of 2013. I uploaded 387 photographs within the first few days I was on the website. My Stockvault earnings for 2014 are far lower than I would have expected. Compared to Freerangestock I would guess my earnings are about 1 to 50.
In 2013 I had no clicks. Not a single click. I had about 500 registered views which average out to less than 2 views per image. This was incredibly low. In 2014 things picked up relatively speaking. From Janurary 2014 to July 11, 2014 I have had 9 clicks and about 2600 more views. I made a total of 2.19. These earnings are ridiculously low for the amount of time invested in uploading and keywording.
Lets be modest and assume I was able to upload and keyword 1 image a minute. That would mean I spent around 387 minutes to upload these photographs and keyword them. Not all of my photographs were accepted so I probably uploaded dozens more photographs than what is displayed. That equates to 6 hours and 27 minutes. I value my time working at least 20 dollars and hour. To break even I would need to make about 130 dollars to make it worth my time. Right now I have made alittle over 2 dollars in under a year. Assuming I earn 3 dollars by the 1 year mark, I would need 40 years of residual passive income to make up for my time. My photographs are on par or better than a lot of the photographs on the website. I do not know why my views are so low and the clicks I receive are even worse.
My Stockvault earnings in 2014 are not worth my time. I would recommend you not upload your photograph to the website but if you decide to give it a try be cautious and go in with low expectations. Try uploading your photographs to Freerangestock for much better returns on your time. You will make far more money in far shorter time by using Freerangestock. As an example I made 13 dollars from 600 photograph last month alone on Freerangestock.
