The Kitchen soundtrack features music by composer Erik Desiderio (Possessions, Bread Alone, Both Thumbs, He’s Such a Girl, Sons of Liberty, And So Life Goes On). Desiderio is an accomplished film composer with over fifty films under his belt. Among his more notable works include music for the films The Moon and the Son and Immortals. A lot of the films he scored appeared in well-known international festivals like the Tribeca, Sundance and Toronto film festivals. Desiderio has also worked on television, creating music for shows that include The Apprentice, Entourage and The Primetime Emmy Awards. He is a recipient of the Clive Davis Award for Excellence in Music. Desiderio is also a member of a musical group called the Jazz Poets’ Society or JPS. He is the group’s bass player. The group has opened for well-known artists like Amiel Laroux, The Roots and A Tribe Called Quest. The group has released two record albums – The Show and Poets Lounge.

FUN – This is a band based in New York City that’s most well-known for its hits We Are Young, Carry On and Some Nights. The band released two albums – Aim and Ignite in 2009 and Some Nights in 2012. The band were big winners at the 2013 Grammy Awards, bagging the Best New Artist and Song of the Year Awards. The band is composed of Nate Ruess, Jack Antonoff, Andrew Dost, Will Noon, Nate Harold and Emily Moore.
Class Actress – A synthpop band, Class Actress was formed in 2009 and they released their debut studio album in 2011 called Rapprocher. This album contained eleven tracks. Before releasing their first studio album, Class Actress released Journal of Ardency, an EP with five tracks (Careful What You Say, Let Me Take You Out, Someone Real, Journal of Ardency, Adolescent Heart). The band is composed of Elizabeth Harper, Scott Rosenthal and Mark Richardson.
Gayngs – This is an indie group that is composed of over 25 musicians that include Har Mar Superstar, Justin Vernon, Ryan Olson, Michael Lewis,Maggie Morrison, Katy Morley, Dessa, Channy Leaneagh, and Ivan Howard. They released a studio album called Relayted in 2010.
