CONTINUED FROM…He reinvested much of Libya’s oil revenue back into the country. He enjoys much support among the middle classes. Libya enjoyed much prosperity and thrived under his rulership. Where to from here?
General Bashar Al Asaad of Syria managed to maintain a volatile peace in the region. Syria an old and fierce enemy of Israel. Now with the turmoil going on, they refuse outside intervention. All the West is interested is their precious oil supply but if the time bomb explodes here in the middle east then the whole world could go to war/up in smoke. Al Asaad is so determined to hold onto power that he oredered his troops to open fire on their own people which many refused to do and were gunned down by fellow soldiers. Where do these rebels come from and why are they so thoroughly prepared for war? Who trained them? Al queda? And why do they come out now accusing their leaders of being corrupt? Their has to be a hidden agenda? A Hamas-backed overthrow of the Syrian government could have serious implications for all. But it seems inevitable. However I still feel that if the free world properly understands the situation in the revolution-ravaged section of the world-it could work to diffuse the developing crisis. If not properly monitired it’s going to be like an alien invasion. Forget about their restrictions placed on muslims since 9/11. There are many ways of skinning a cat. Infiltration of the free world is at all levels.
General Al Asaad might be able to hold out against the rebels for as long as it takes to bring them to the negotiating table, but their agenda is Jihad. even if it means death. Notice how none of the leaders of Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and others who caved in did not get harmed? They are looking at the big Muslamic picture. World Domination.
