There have been many probably millions of articles written about losing weight and yes this is another one. Although if you give me a few minutes I know you will be glad you did. First things first, most people who want to or need to lose weight know exactly what they need to do to lose the fat. Have a look at yourself and your habits and do something about it. It’s that simple. A big factor in whether you will succeed or not is sommething called will power. Will power doesn’t come easy. Some say you either have it or you don’t. I say you either want to make a change or you don’t and it has nothing to do with will power. Will power is just another excuse for failure. How many times have you said you wished you had the will power? You don’t need will power, what you need is to once and for all to decide for yourself that you are going to succeed and make it happen.
Of course there are other things you can do to succeed and I will share them with you right now.
Stop eating 4 or 5 hours before bed time. Any food in your stomach will end up on the outside of your stomach, plain and simple. Stop drinking alcohol. Alcohol messes with your judgement and is also full of empty calories. Your body doesn’t know what to do with alcohol calories so it stores it as fat. Now you might say that you know someone who is an alcoholic that is as skinny as a rail. Well that person isn’t here ready how to lose weight once and for all. That person also probably doesn’t eat any food and only consumes alcohol.
This is a no brainer but I will say it anyways, cut out junk food. Cut out all junk food like chips and candies, pop and everything that is made of simple sugars, deep fried and loaded with salt. Think of it this way, you put that high calorie, high fat, high sodium, high carbohydrate junk in your body and it is just like you are trying to poison yourself. Start eating and drinking cleaner and you will feel the difference in as little as a few days. It is amazing at just how incredibly you feel when you clean up your diet and stay away from alcohol. All of this stuff is habit forming whether you are eating terribly or eating healthy, correct your habits.
Eat 5 to 6 small meals and snacks spread out throught the day. Your body can only use so many calories to function properly. The excess of calories ends up on your stomach butt or legs. Find out how many calories you require in a day for your weight and eat 500 less calories each day. There are many calorie calculators on the internet you can use for free to find out where your calorie count should be.
Next is get enough sleep. Most people think they get enough sleep but they don’t. Sleeping helps your body do what it needs to too heal you and make you feel better and recharge you for the next day. Also get to sleep around the same time every night and wake up around the same time every day. If you do this you will notice a difference in how you feel in 1 week.
Lastly exercise. I don’t care what you do at this point just make sure you do something to increase your heart rate and in turn your metabolism. If you sit and don’t do anything your body adapts to this laziness and your metabolism slows right down and just doens’t process fats the way it should. Go for a 20 minute walk. lift weights just do something. Exercise every day if you can muster up the energy, after while you will start looking foward to your workouts.
That is it in a nut shell. Do these things and you can’t help but lose weight.
