Let me tell you about a boy, a little bitty boy,
this boy was so shy, he would only wave goodbye.
He is a special one, even from the age of one.

This little bitty boy, who is very, very shy
loves to be creative, that cannot be debated,
and has a heart of gold, if I may be so bold.

At the age of three, he’d never climbed a tree,
but he became my angel, who never has an angle,
he had an idea, though he knew I cannot see.

This little bitty boy, who is very, very shy
loves to be so kind, even though I may be blind,
he came up with a plan, that would be very grand.

Even though I cannot see, he couldn’t let that be,
he asked his mommy please, to quickly grab her keys,
with that he left with promise, that his idea was flawless.

This little bitty boy, who is very, very shy
loves to share his joy, though just a boy,
he had it all worked out, and very little doubt.

He returned a day later, with a piece of paper,
he told me of his trip, he’s smart as a whip,
then he held out his hand, with a simple command.

This little bitty boy, who is very, very shy
loves to share happiness, he will take nothing less,
he said to feel around, then made not a sound.

He could see tears in my eyes, told me not to cry
but in my hands I held, something I could never sell,
he had thought glitter glue, could do what brail could do.

See, this little bitty boy, who is very, very, shy
loved to give to all, though he is very small,
painted made a picture just for me, one I didn’t have to see.

He knew I could not see, but he still did believe,
he could make a special gift, my spirits he did lift,
I feel it every day, and could still hear him say,

I may be a little bitty boy, and very, very shy,
but here’s a gift for you, I made it with glitter glue,
cuz I know you cannot see, but now you can remember me.

Now at the age of four, this boy I still adore,
I watch him from up above, share with others his love,
he gave this gift to me, one that was better than to see.
