Microsoft, a direct competitor with Apple has released the Microsoft Surface Pro Tablet, a fully-fledged Windows 8 tablet that acts as a computer.  Just a few months earlier, Microsoft introduced the Surface Tablet RT, which was nice looking and jumped to Surface Pro within a few months.  The Surface is equipped like a laptop and has 1.7GHz Intel Core i5-3317u processor with integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000, 4GB of RAM, and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.  Equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi the Surface Pro is a tablet that you must have.  It sports 2 HD cameras located on the front and rear of the tablet.  The 10.6 tablet has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 which is awesome compared to the resolution of 1366 x 768 on the Microsoft Windows RT which had great colors but not in HD resolution.

Asus VivoTab Smart

Asus have introduced the VivoTab Series namely consisting of Asus VivoTab, Asus VivoTab RT and Asus VivoTab Smart.  The latter is a full Windows 8 tablet with a resolution of 1366 x 768 with a 10.1″ display.  Extremely thin and lightweight the Asus VivoTab Smart weighs only 1.3lbs and 0.4″ thin.  Its 64GB memory storage is enough for most people, however you can add additional storage with the use of a MicroSD Card that can be used with the integrated MicroSD Card reader.  The battery lasts over 8 hours and has 2 cameras, one on the front and the other one on the rear.  The rear camera can take pictures up to 8 megapixels and videos in HD.
