For those of you who didn’t know, the Transfromers started out as a Japanese toy line that was produced by Takara Tomy. In 2007 the first movie Transformers was made, and this was followed by Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and the latest, Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Out of these movies, the most popular Transformer is Optimus Prime. There are many variations of this costume, and the one you purchase will depend on your taste. The men’s costume comes in a jumpsuit that includes a full helmet.

Other Costumes
The boy’s version of the Optimus Prime costume is a blue jumpsuit that has red flames on the arms and legs, and comes in sizes 4 – 6. The Optimus Prime costume for women and girls includes an above the knees blue dress with red and blue detail on the torso.
There is also the yellow Bumblebee costume that comes in a variety of sizes for men, women, girls, boys, toddlers and infants.
In the latest movie, Rescue Bots were introduced, and now you can find these in costumes for both adults and children. The costume color will match the color of the Transformer they are assigned to. For example, Optimus Prime is silver, Bumblebee is yellow and silver, Chase is blue and sliver and Heatwave is red and silver.
Final Thoughts
There were comments made about the sizes running a little small, the material being too thin and the child’s mask being flimsy.
